I did a mix series called "The Wedding Mixer" that was a play off the movie "The Wedding Singer" in the early 2000's. Key-Kool's (of the Visionaries) older brother was getting married in Hawaii & asked me to DJ their wedding reception. At the time, I really didn't have the budget to really go out there to DJ plus I really don't like to DJ weddings (I used to do them back in my Mobile DJ days but really didn't enjoy spinning at them even though I was gettin paid pretty good). So what I did, as a wedding gift, I made a custom made mix full of the classic 80's Funk joints for them to listen to. Because of the response, The Wedding Mixer series was born.

Fast forward to 2016, I started doing live dance parties of the Wedding Mixer thanks to my brothers Asad & Ryan of Footlong Development. This would be the 2nd party I did & I had the incredible Mad Skillz (yes, THAT Mad Skillz) co-host & Dj'ed the party with me. As for a promotional tool to promote the party, I made a quick New Jack Swing mix including all your favorites: Teddy Riley/Guy, Bobby Brown, Al B Sure, The Gyrlz, etc. Quite a few people said this mix was their favorite out of all the mixes I did for the Wedding Mixer series.
