This particular Mixtape was a special limited edition that was only available in Japan in 1999. It was made specifically Japan Only release by the legendary record store Manhattan Records in Shibuya, Tokyo.

I was hoping to do a series with this because I wanted to a different years during the 90's Hip Hop Era (being that the following year was going to be the year 2000). Unfortunately, this was the only mix I did and I was only able to do the years 1990-1996, as much as I can fit in. I really put in work with the mixtape; had intricate Scratch Intros & skits, and featured some Indie West Coast Hip Hop as well.....pretty much was in the same vein as The World Famous Beat Junkies Vol. 2 Mixtape I did in 1998. If you notice, there's 2 tracks because one track is Side A & the other was Side B....its was a 90 minute Mixtape, 45 minutes on each side.

This is one of my favorite mixtapes I have ever made (next to the WFBJ Vol. 2). If you actually got the cassette tape, consider yourself lucky, because there were only 200 made in existence & I only 2 copies myself. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I made it....
